Nearuvo uses your location only after you choose to share it, stores your saved items and last location choice locally on your device, and sends location coordinates to its live data providers only to retrieve nearby results.
Location
If you tap “Use my current location,” your browser may share latitude and longitude with Nearuvo. Those coordinates are sent to Nearuvo’s server functions to request nearby events and places from third-party data providers. Your last location choice may be stored in your browser’s local storage so the site can reopen where you left off.
Saved items
Saved places/events are stored locally in your browser. Nearuvo does not currently require a user account for saved items.
Local event submissions
If you submit a local event, Nearuvo receives the event details and contact email you provide so the submission can be reviewed. Do not submit private-home addresses or private-party details.
Third-party services
Nearuvo uses Ticketmaster and PredictHQ for event information, Google Maps Platform for place information, MovieGlu for nearby movie-theater showtimes, OpenStreetMap for event-map tiles, and Netlify for hosting and form processing. Your use of linked third-party services may also be governed by their own privacy policies.
Google Maps Platform content is subject to the Google Privacy Policy.
Data sales
Nearuvo does not currently sell personal information or operate an advertising profile based on your precise location.
Privacy requests
This policy should be reviewed by qualified counsel before a large commercial launch or if Nearuvo begins creating user accounts, selling ads, processing payments, or collecting additional personal data.
